Rick Deeds 
Rick Deeds is currently serving his third, four-year term on Canal Winchesters Village Council. In addition to being Council President, Deeds is chair of the Finance Committee, a member of the Old Town Historical Committee and a representative to the Canal Winchester Industry and Commerce Corporation (CWICC).

Deeds previously served on Council from 1998 2005. During this time he was the chair of the Safety and Service Committees as well as a member of the Services, Safety Rules, and Finance Committees. In addition to his role on council, Deeds also serves the community through his participation in the Canal Winchester Education Fund, the Villages at Westchester Homeowners Association, the School Business Advisory Board, the Labor Day Festival & Cruise In, and the Canal Winchester Athletic Boosters.

Deeds earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Devry University and a Masters of Business Administration from Capital University. He is employed as a Senior Management Consultant with the Affiliated Resource Group, a technology consulting company. Deeds has been a resident of Canal Winchester for more than 20 years, and currently resides in the Villages at Westchester with his wife, Beth, and their two children, Megan and Cameron.
