Bobbie Mershon 
Bobbie Mershon attended Marian College and graduated from St. Vincent's School of Nursing with a R.N. degree. She was commissioned an officer of the United States Army Nurse Corps. Her duties included ICU staff nurse at the 93rd EVAC Hospital, Long Bien, Vietnam. Bobbie is still an active member of the Vietnam Veteran's of American Legion, Post 677, Auxiliary Post 220, Vietnam Women's memorial Project in Washington, D.C., and past commander of the Harold R. Ray VFW Post 10523.

She is a member of Hope United Methodist Church. Bobbie is a registered nurse employed at the Eye Center of Columbus. She and her husband Dan have lived in Canal Winchester since 1977. They have three children. Their two daughters and one son graduated from Canal Winchester Schools. Bobbie was elected to Canal Winchester Council in 1989, re-elected in 1993, 1997, 2001, and 2005.

She is currently serving as council vice-president. Her duties on council have included Old Town Committee Chair, Service Committee Chair, Finance Committee, and council liaison to the Labor Day Committee. Bobbie is the recipient of the Canal Winchester Youth Service Award and the Grant Hospital Excellence in Nursing Award.
