The City of Canal Winchester Department of Public Works is proud to own and operate its own treatment facilities. The newly expanded Water Treatment Facility has the capacity of 2.0 Million Gallons per Day. A network at water distribution pipes supply water to all parts of the city with 4" through 16" main lines and to three water storage towers with 1.4 Million Gallons of capacity.

The Water Reclamation Facility, constructed in 1999, has a treatment capacity of 2.48 Million Gallons per Day and is currently at less than half capacity. Collection mains ranging from 8" to 36" convey wastes to the treatment facility via gravity and through strategically located pumping stations.

The city also has a Stormwater Utility that administers the Stormwater Management Code to comply with the NPDES Phase II requirements. The Stormwater Management Code and Stormwater Design Manual can be found on the Division of Stormwater page under the Department of Public Works.

In addition to the utilities provided by the city, the following are contacts for private utility companies that provide services within the City of Canal Winchester. The city does not recommend or endorse any of the companies listed below.
