The Village has adopted the State of Ohio mandated 2007 Ohio Building Code, Ohio Plumbing Code and Ohio Mechanical Code, with references. These codes apply to the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, use and occupancy, location, maintenance, removal and demolition of every building or structure, any appurtenances connected or attached to such buildings or structures.
A building permit is required for any new construction/alteration EXCEPT for the following:
Although the above nine items are not required to submit plans for a building permit, they may require a Certificate of Zoning Compliance.
