The Village of Canal Winchester does not have an animal control department.
We do have a staff member that is licensed to remove nuisance animals. If you have a wild animal problem of this nature please contact Tom Moore at 614-837-2254.
If there is a dead animal on the road or in the right of way you can contact our Street Department at 614-837-1992.
If you have a problem with a dog that has no license, is loose or a rabies problem contact
Franklin County Animal Control
at 614-462-3400
If you have a problem with a domestic animal cruelty, neglect or abandonment contact the
Capital Area humane Society
at 614-777-7387
