1. Where is court held?

Court is held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. at Town Hall located at 10 North High Street in Canal Winchester.

2. I can’t make my court date. How do I reschedule?

Court dates cannot be rescheduled. Contact the Clerk of Court with questions.

3. I missed my court date. What do I do?

Contact the Clerk of Court as soon as possible. Missing a court date can result in a summons, warrant block, or warrant for your arrest being issued.

4. I have a warrant out for my arrest. How can I get it removed?

To have a warrant removed, please contact the Clerk of Court during normal business hours.

5. I went to get my license renewed and was told I have a warrant block from Canal Winchester. How do I take care of this?

All fines must be paid in full before the warrant block will be lifted. Contact the Clerk of Court to make a payment.

6. I would like to have my record expunged. What do I need to do?

An expungement application must be completed and submitted to the Clerk of Court. There is a $50 nonrefundable fee that must be paid at the time of application. Contact the Clerk of Court if you have questions.

7. I had previously arranged a payment plan with the Clerk of Court but now I am unable to pay this month. Is there anything I can do?

Contact the Clerk of Court to discuss.

8. If I'm on a payment plan, can I still pay my fine in full?

Yes. At any point after the fine has been set by the Magistrate, the balance can be paid in full. Contact the Clerk of Court to arrange a payment.
