Chair volleyball is a physical activity that provides a fun way to be active. Because players are required to remain seated, chair volleyball allows those with physical limitations to participate on a level playing field with those who may be more active. Played indoors with a beachball, this game is fun, physical, and full of laughs!

The Quilters on the Canal is an open sewing/quilting group where you can bring your machine and work on any project you choose. They meet at the Community Center every Monday

From the original days in 1811 when Henry Dove moved his family from Virginia to Canal Winchester, our town flourished in the farming industry. Various goods and social opportunities were available to the residents in town. Stop by the Historical Complex during Founders Day to learn more about that history and different opportunities available back then.
Canal Winchester City Council meetings are held at City Hall located at 45 East Waterloo St and are open to the public. Please see the cover page of the meeting agenda for additional information.
In addition, meetings will continue to be available for live viewing online. The meetings will be hosted online on the City's YouTube page which can be accessed at the link below.
City Council will also continue to accept written public comments prior to a council meeting. Comments regarding legislation or other topics will be accepted until 12:00 pm the Friday before the meeting.
Canal Winchester is filled with some ghostly characters that helped to shape our city. Come to meet a few of these history makers in during the upcoming ghost tours.
The walking tours last about 90 minutes and begin at 7 p.m. Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22. Each tour starts from the Historical Complex located at 10 W. Oak Street. Tickets may be purchased at the Train Depot beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the last tour departing at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, ages 6-18. Children under age 5 are free. Online ticket sales will open in September 2022 on the Historical Society website.
The Canal Winchester Historical Society has proudly partnered with the Canal Winchester Performing Arts to bring you two exciting nights of history.
Grab the family and head to the Community Center for a FREE family game night! Bring your own game or choose from one of the many available at the center. We'll also have a Wii set up to play! Pizza, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Guests that join us in their Halloween costumes will also receive a FREE treat bag!

Canal Winchester Chamber's Halloween-inspired race and fun run in Canal Winchester on Saturday, October 29, 2022. The Running Scared 5K, presented by Nationwide Children’s Hospital, encourages runners, fitness enthusiasts, and costume-wearers of all ages to participate and “run for your life".
The City of Canal Winchester is pleased to once again feature family friendly Beggar’s Night activities. Children will be able to Trick-or-Treat on Monday, October 31 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, and then attend the annual Halloween Party sponsored by the local VFW immediately following trick-or-treat.
The free party will take place at the Community Center at 45 E. Waterloo St. Canal Winchester Human Services will help sponsor entertainment for the evening.
