Canal Winchester is ideally located in southeast Central Ohio, 15 minutes from downtown Columbus. The Village is easily accessible to the entire region, only 5 minutes from I-270, 20 minutes from Port Columbus International Airport and less than 10 minutes from Rickenbacker International Airport. Rickenbacker is the air and rail cargo hub for the Central Ohio Region.

The Village of Canal Winchester is serviced by US 33, a limited access highway that travels through Central Ohio to West Virginia. The Village has two interchange locations on the corridor at Gender Road (SR 674) and Diley Road. Additionally, there is at grade access to US 33 at High St. eastbound and Bowen Rd. westbound. US 33 has an average daily traffic of approximately 65,000 vehicles.
