Ohio Health

Ohio Health recently received approval to construct a large outpatient medical campus in the city of Canal Winchester. The new 40,000 square-foot facility will enable OhioHealth to increase access to care in our growing community. The facility is expected to include a 10k square-foot freestanding emergency department and a 30k square-foot medical office building that will house primary care, sports medicine, women’s and reproductive care, and other specialty services. Additional services may be added in time. In total, OhioHealth expects to invest $31 million in the Canal Winchester project and complete the project in 2025. Ohio Health

Canal Crossing Phase 2

Northpoint Development recently received approval to construct three new industrial buildings on the south side of Bixby Road at US 33. These buildings are directly adjacent to their recently completed Canal Crossing Industrial project on Bixby Road. They plan to begin construction of two 263,000 square feet speculative industrial buildings in the spring of 2024 and finish the project in early 2025. They will also retain the land to construct another 435,000 square feet building in a future phase.Canal Crossing Phase 2Canal Pointe Expansion

Molto Properties recently received approval to expand the Canal Pointe Industry & Commerce Park to the west on a 96-acre site. The extension of Robinette Way will provide access to two new speculative industrial buildings. A 374,476 square feet building and a larger 464,588 cross dock industrial building. These buildings can accommodate up to 6 new tenants and will allow the City to continue to attract new companies to the Fairfield 33 corridor.

Indian Trail Elementary School

Canal Winchester Local Schools is requesting approval to construct a 14,014 sq. ft. west wing addition onto the Indian Trail Elementary School. The addition would feature 8 kindergarten classrooms on the first floor and 10 classrooms on the second floor. The proposed project will also redesign some of the outdoor playground space.
